I honestly believed we would beat bama

Jan 5, 2018, 9:31 AM

Not by a lot - maybe by two scores at the most - but I thought we were the better team. Very disappointed and bummed by our loss.

But I have decided how to best deal with my depression. Since Auburn beat bama and uga, and an undefeated UCF beat Auburn, I will not recognize either sec team (which I was unaware of until my coot cousin reminded me it was an all sec Championship) as the natty champ.

I am declaring UCF National Champion, and consider the other cfp game null and void.

#NotMyChampion#UCF13-0 if you want to get on board with the movement.

Anybody know where I can get one of those pink va***na hats??... tia

Whatever choice(s) you make makes you. Choose wisely.

If the right side of our line, Pollard and Anchrum in particular hold their blocks and if our RBs could block, we do win that game....

But it didn't happen so lets move on...

going into the off-season. Albany could theoretically win it on Sept 1. Eyes on Sept 8 vs Penn State.

I couldn't disagree with you more, about UCF.

I think the two best teams met in the semi-final. Clemson & Alabama. I think we match up better, and beat both Georgia & especially Oklahoma.

Bama had a chance to get healthy, and prepare for that game as soon as their last game ended. Our having to play in the ACC championship had little to do with our prep. We came out of that game relatively healthy.

That said, I think the semi-final games should be played 2 weeks after the conference championships. Then have 3 weeks to prep for the National Championship.

The article states what we all felt and watched Monday night. I won't take anything away from Alabama's dominance over our offense. However, as always, there was a small handful of plays that could have swung the outcome. Keep in mind they only out gained us by 80 yards, and it's not like we picked up yards in garbage time. It was truly a hard fought game from both teams.

Knowing who we have returning, who's coming in, and our schedule?

We'll be right back in the playoff again next year.

If anyone is really getting depressed over the outcome of a football game, you might want to re-examine your priorities. It is entertainment and if the outcome could cause me to become depressed, I will turn it off. Until teams start sending me game checks for wins, and bills for losses, the outcomes have no real affect on my life. I think fans who actually get mad and get in fights over a football game are idiotic. Of course idiots can be entertaining to watch when engaged in such activity.

Alabama just took advantage of the weakness Clemson had on the OL all year. It was fairly obvious that Clemson had less experience and talent there. That is not an insult to the OL, as there is no substitute for experience. Clemson needs to just get over this horrible season. Just for the record...that was sarcasm. Other teams would love to have a season like Clemson just had.

We got beat by the better team that night. No Shame. I don't like either program, but the winner is the champ.
