is the rule against having more than 2 teams in the BCS. Bama and the SECCG winner are locks for the BCS, which then shuts SCar out. While the dearth of good ACC teams, yet one going to the NCG really helps out Clemson bowl wise.

The flip side is that it probably overmatches all the ACC teams in their bowl games, while the SEC probably beats up on their bowl opponents.
