Did they have a better resume than Bama? Both have one loss and both were not conference champs. Maybe they should have stayed at #4.

No. Auburn wasn't getting in unless they beat Ga. If the championship game hadn't existed, Bama would have still been selected.

Clear cut better team is a pretty strong statement for a one possession game that ended with Wisconsin having a chance to win.

Also, Wisconsin didn't lose by 31 to Iowa, or to another team.

Wisconsin needs big time players on the offensive side if they want to compete for a Natty. Defense is excellent and they are well coached.
