Anyone bothered to verify if Cloney's 4.5 forty claim

is anywhere close to being reality? Have serious doubts on this one. Like my granny once said if it's too good to be true; it probably is.

97 yard TD Run shows great speed. Ran 4.5 in High School according to rivals

That was a quote from a Columbia police officer. He said Clowney must have been running a 4.5 to elude the fastest guy in their unit.

I bet he will run under a 4.65 at the combine if he decides to run. Athletically, he is as impressive as Julius Peppers.

Yes it is legit

There is a reason he is described as a freak.

Freak has other meanings***

sammy would smoke him.

that is embarrassing for the state of SC

if a 4.5 guy is running the anchor for a state championship.

the state of sc is doing well in a ton of sports. I ran track in high school and 4.5 is pretty average for high school track. Anything higher and then yes your a little slow for the 4 x100.

where did south point finish in the state that year?***

Who cares... a lot of hand timed 40s by the coaches are off then just like heights and weights they kind of alter the time but really what does it matter

4.5 seems possible. He's an incredible athlete. Didn't some 300 pound o lineman from a small school run a 4.65 at the combine?
