Shock and Awe: Tony Elliott says Tigers take pride in no-name, big-play offense

Shock and awe? Tony Elliott doesn’t have a name for his big-play offense but admits that given the Tigers’ ability to make big plays, a moniker might just help his players take pride in their accomplishments. Full Story »

We do know the names, but just can't pronounce them!

This offense is definitely "shock and awe"! Coach Elliott has so many options to chose from, it has got to seem unstoppable to another team's DC. Being selfish, I would love for Coach Elliott to stay at Clemson like Coach Venables has. Both of them are great at what they do.
GO TIGERS!!!

Re: TNET: Tony Elliott -in the orange shirt dilema

What do I wear to the office today he wonders?
"Honey, have you seen my orange shirt?"
"Yes Tony its in the closet with all your other 53 orange shirts."
"Yeah but I wanted to wear the lucky one today!"
"Tony... they're all lucky. You know that!"

I have that same problem; "which orange shirt do I wear today?" I don't have 53 like Tony, only 25-30, but I wear at least one every day 24/7/365 1/4. On cooler days, I wear a Tiger Paw sweat shirt over a Tiger Paw T-shirt. In the last few months, I've taken to wearing Tiger Paw face masks.

If my neighbors saw me wearing a shirt of a different color, they would likely call the sheriff and report a strange man at my house.

I get reactions from the folks at church too when I walk in wearing orange, especially the minister who is a dawg fan.

I'm told that same thing all the time, and I can't count the times that I've been ask if orange Clemson shirts is all that I own, my answer is the same, pretty much!!!

Coach Elliott Taking Responsibility. Is why

Oct 19, 2020, 7:28 PM

Coach taking responsibility for the one sack is just the type of thing that players gravitate toward. Some coaches would yell and scream no matter how bad a coaching decision they made. By taking accountability for it; players know this dude is just going to call it how he see's it. Which means if you play hard and play better than a teammate you will get the minutes. A fair shot in other words.
Just one of multiple reasons this program is built the right way! And is successful the way it is.

We could harken back to the old Denver Bronco days and call both the offense and defense, "Orange Crush."
