I'd say somewhere around 0% chance. Nobody is catching Bama. Fla State is still after a couple of studs. USCw is going to nail a couple more. UTenn could move up too. Clemson could actually drop down a notch or two before the dust settles. But, I wouldn't worry about it. This is probably the best class Clemson has had since the 80's. I'm happy.

No one will catch bama and there are a few other schools who are ranked in the top 10 that have highly ranked recruits who will most likely commit to them (FSU, Tenn). I still think we finish in the top 5 though

No we will probably drop. If you think about it if there is a signing day surprise it could be one of ours flipping. I say that because we are through with this class so that would be the only way we would see a surprise at this point. We have a great class and it fills our needs so hopefully they all sign come Feb.

really get counted on a site like Rivals, so getting Fields only netted us the difference in pts between him and the #20 prospect that he bumped off. That would've been one of the 5.6 rated 3-star guys which are worth 75 points. Fields is 5.9 which is 120 points plus i think he gets a few bonus points for being a top 250 player, but that ranking is currently not listed because they've been updating them. Anyway, Fields gives us an extra 50-60 points, but we are 350 points behind Bama so we would need about 6 more guys like him to commit to pass them

To echo the sentiments of others here, no way. We should still finish in the Top 6-7 teams though and that's fine by me.

Nope. When all the dust settles we'll end up around 6 or 7. Lot of 5 stars still in courting. Once they commit, we'll slide a little bit.

Worry about your your own guys qualifying, propping up your team rankings with jucos who weren't smart enough to qualify after high school (yet have 2 years to learn an entirely new system & somehow prove not to be a liability on defense/grade out every week above a C on executing their assignments).. and that's just the tip of the iceberg, coot.

Not going to happen! If Alabama gets a commit, ESPN will automatically jack him one star to keep Alabama number one. Just like they did with their football rankings in the last two weeks of the season with jacking Mississippi State, Mississippi, Missouri, and Arkansas to undeserved high rankings to keep Alabama number one over Oregon.
