They aren't considering him, because they know he wouldn't consider it.

Dabo does not have the resume...

Dabo does not yet, have the resume to get a job like Florida.
He still cannot beat his two biggest rivals.
Until he proves otherwise, he will be in Tigertown.
He is still going through "on the job training".

better than proven recruit master (in Florida nonetheless). How exactly is that? Please explain because I am legitimately confused on the point you were trying to make here.

was a defensive COORDINATOR on the college and pro level. that starts him a ahead of dabo because dabo was NEVER a coordinator and has never coached in the nfl. also mushchamp was the dc on two teams that won a nc. next question. one last thing for future reference, dabo was passed over several times by tommy Bowden to be promoted to the oc job, so that should tell you what tommy thought of his ability.

Exactly. At this point, he has a better resume than Muschamp did at the time he was hired by Florida.

Even though he is an SEC homer and his job is to "stir it up", you've got to figure guys like him do hear a lot.

Sometimes these guys talk....

like they have insider knowledge but they dont. At times you see all these names and schools go in a completely different direction.
Im not sure how closed Foley is about his doings, some are more likely to share and others arent.
If I had to guess I'd say Dabo is in the second tier listing of candidates. Im sure some in Gainesville wouldnt like him due to his struggles with FSU/USC of late, but I do think he is a better candidate then many of those names mentioned already.
If they cant get Stoops, Mullen or Rich Rod, then Dabo is just as good a candidate as those other names.....Kiffin, Patterson, Doc Holliday, Graham, etc.
I think Hugh Freeze or Art Briles would work, but I annot see either leaving their current situations unless they crave that elite program job.

Patterson is one of the top 3 or 4 coaches in the country.

Meh...Im not buying it for now. Is Dan Mullen or Hugh Freeze one of the top 3 or 4 guys?
Patterson had a great run in the MWC but has pretty much stunk until this year since joining the Big 12.
I think he's a dang good coach and I'd take him as my coach, but I thin kDabo could do wonders at a small school in a small conference also.

First off, I don't think Dabo would take the job

also I wouldn't see the couple of guys ahead of him to turn it down. But first Little Precious hates Clemson so much Dabo could be moving in his new Florida offices and he'd still be denying it.
Secondly, and most importantly, you Dabo haters are a funny lot, ignorant, dumb and stupid, Dabo would get hired at any school with an opening in the SEC , with his recruiting, hiring skills, the SEC bump in recruiting, he'd own that conference.

Hiring skills? Would that be his hiring of an OC that couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag against decent competition or the hire of Robbie Caldwell?
I'd say that about the only good hire that he has made lately is Venables.

He would have all the recruits in Florida. He already gets half of them to Clemson.
It would be a great hire on their part but hopefully they don't do it.
