First job outta college in 1980, worked for Amoco & lived at Scenic Arms Apts on Shotwell St for a couple years. That's where I watched the 1981 nat'l champ game, on my little Admiral TV. I still have the empty Crown bottle from that night. Sat there by myself and got trashed, almost got arrested a couple times because I was outside howling at the moon and screaming Go Tigers into the wee hours...

To the left of Winston-Salem. You can take "left" to mean physically or philosophically. They both apply. We lost a lot of trees around here because the ground was already saturated.
