He's been able to play most every week aside from a couple but I haven't seen him but I'm not at all saying I disagree with him not playing, you don't go out there on a bad knee or you're going to make things 100 times worse. When knees act up like that and you have bursitis it is an unpredictable and typically lengthy process and about the best you can do is find some way to surgically alleviate whatever stress is causing it and clean it out completely. It's hard to walk around for extended periods of time with that, much less sprint, cut and jump while dealing with that. Most all of the pain related with knee and shoulder injuries like that are painful but most of the pain comes from the bursitis.
I wish we could just give him this year to heal and take it easy but with him going down last year I guess a medical redshirt was and is unavailable for him this year? Anyone know more about that than me? If I'm not mistaken that nc st db got like 3 medical redshirts consecutively so I'm not sure how it works
