there will be NO football played in the Spring, other than your typical spring practice.

you are correct. I believe the NFL is already on record in saying their draft will not be moved back.

Exactly. Teams will not (and should not) start a “season” in February/March that ends in May/June. Then, start the normal season in August. It won’t happen. Gotta either play in fall 2020 or wait until fall 2021.

CFB will always be played in the fall.

But, this is potentially the beginning of another major realignment. If they pull off a successful season this fall expect the conferences/schools that opted to play to reap significant financial rewards over those that didn't. That will trickle down into recruiting, and athletic budgets.

Once that train starts rolling it'll be hard to stop. There'll be a compound effect that will change the landscape of CFB forever. Again, only if a successful CFB season is played out this fall.
