What an awesome final post for the season! I experienced most of those moments as you did and to reflect on everyhting helps me put the season to bed. I think your article now gives me closure and basketball gets my attention, as it should.

Wow! Best article ever.

Turn my attention to OP and the awesome season we're having on the hardwood.

Wow!! Best read from Tigernet in many, many weeks

Good job Scott!! It was great to remember all those spectacular moments right along with you as I read that. Sometimes we lose track of all the fun we have before the scoreboard reaches 00:00. When I was in college, I would let a loss completely ruin my evening, and even the rest of my weekend sometimes. I see that with many of the people on this board. I am glad I have learned to let it go, and continue to enjoy everything else about the game besides the score. Thanks for the read.

Great article

And I agree. Experiencing those moments was great this year. Though I want more wins, I've learned to accept what 2006 was and try to see the good.

And for some reason, I just don't get as upset about losses as I used to. I've had so much fun this year in Tiger Band, that I don't regret this season at all. It was a blast. But ultimately, people are still going to talk wins and losses (and possibly rightfully so).

ALL SO TRUE, when we base everything on wins and losses, it can surely ruin the memories, and like you Scott I have many. Started following the Tigers in 1975 as a freshman with all my friends that I made while attending and we have stayed in touch all these years. Now I have one daughter there and the rest of us travel for the games making many more memories. A friend gave me a field pass this year for the GaTech game and it was nothing less than magical (first time ever on the field). An old boss (Clemson Grad '59) used to just laugh at me for being so upset when the Tigers lost, and he told me that would change and it has. I still get "bothered" in the short term, but the memories are always good, friends, family and great times. Alot of folks don't understand that my love of the Tigers is more than the sports, its more about the school that provided me with a miraculous 5 years (I co-oped, ha) and makes me proud to hang my diploma on the wall. Thanks for the memories and thanks for reminding me, GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!

Hearing that she got to be Grand Marshall in our first game had to be a highlight moment in her life. I'm glad she's doing well :)

experience as a member of the Tiger family.

The absolute worst day spent as a Tiger is still better than the best day as anything else - especially a coot!
