Yeah, I get it. Sad to read that story yesterday. My dad's family was from Abbeville. He and 3 of his brothers were all linemen, running power lines all over the country, mostly rural areas that never had electricity before. But the oldest brother stayed home in Abbeville and spent 40 years on the railroad. If he were still alive, I'm sure he would've been sad to see what happened to the old depot.

Shelby NC, took my 2 surviving uncles up there last year. They're both 90+ and thoroughly enjoyed it. I did too, that place was fascinating...
