really hate to see that for the guy. Certainly sending prayers to him and his family. I really hope he plays again, I'd hate to see a kid with so much dang talent end his career like that. Wishing the best for Marcus.

replay. His leg was completely shattered by the impact. The only injury I've seen that was worse was Napoleon McCallum's, in which the angle of impact basically just broke the knee joint from front to back. Thankfully for Napoleon, the shock of it knocked him out long enough for them to probably load him up on morphine.

it is all speculation. the hgamecock program has not said a word on the injury.
A family member of mine is an news anchor in Charleston, the rumor there was a dislocation and a bad ACL tear.

no, I just got text, have not heard anything since.
but the orthopedic surgeon community is pretty small, so the trainer from UF probably has it right.

Marcus will be fine even if he can't play ball anymore.
He could take over for Lou in the booth!
He would have to be an improvement!
Praying he recovers and does whatever God has in store for him!

if true, Willis Mcgehee had the same injury and still got drafted.
If not, I would be shocked if he did not get picked up as a GA somewhere and got into coaching.

The only thing that is still up in the air is MCL damage and the bone damage. Two of my roommates are athletic trainers (one of which works with the team) and both said that there is no question about dislocation and judging by the way the leg is twisted in the pictures, the tears to ACL, LCL, and PCL are all but certain.
Very tough day here. Terrible that of all people it had to be Marcus. I've met him several times and he really is a great guy. If I know anything about him is that he will bounce back from this.
