Supposedly it can act as headphone jack. BEST part is you don't have to look at the male and female....err.....the connectors to make them match up for insertion. You can just plug it in and it works no matter what side is up or down.

I have the '18 ipad with pencil. It's ok. Works good. The pencil is way more complicated than my galaxy note 8's. More complicated than it needs to be and $100. That pisses me off. If Sammy and google still supported my note 8, I'd be putting a battery in it and rolling with it. It's a #### good one.

it's showing it's age...not sure yet if I'll replace it with another ipad, or go with a samsung, possibly the Google branded tablet....or maybe even a chromebook w/ touchscreen.
I'd only miss a small handful of apps that a) I don't really even use than much, and b) I'd probably still hold on to the ipad for just those apps. Maybe.
I like the iPad just fine, since it's mostly an entertainment tool for me....I've had an iPhone, but in terms of everyday use & productivity (on a portable level), I much prefer clean android (have Pixel....no samsung, or worse...LG)

And the only thing the ipad does better is the camera but who uses those? The same ng screen is awesome.
