New brewery to open in Clemson in the old Astro.

Clemson's first brewery, Magnetic South Brewing, has plans to open in old Astro theater
Magnetic South Brewing Co. is to use some of the existing old Astro theater elements for live music, movies and showing sporting events.

somebody stole my idea...keep one of the movie screen rooms

open for a movie room and another for an indoor concert venue...and then blow out the back and create a huge Clemson themed outdoor game yard (think Fr8 Yard in sparkle city)...with large tV screens and an outdoor stage for music. HAve actual good food but not too crazy..think Legal Remedy Brewing food or Olde MEcklenburg Brewery german inspired style easy grub and the only problem is where we parking at? Because its going to be packed out. I've got more ideas but don't want to type it all out.... Love this move!! i'm glad they're not going to bulldoze it and put something stupid there. The Astro should stay...Should have called it the ASTRO GASTRO PUB and Brewery..or something Clemson or Tiger related..

There's the rest of your ideas now...don't screw my idea up. Feel free to call for the rest. Thanks

Or at least keep the old school ASTRO III sign. Maybe put the Magnetic Brewing sign on the white façade on the left.

I see where the Thomas Creek brewer will also be over this new place. I sure hope their beer is better than Thomas Creek. That stuff is monkey pi$$.
