New Nike unis for CFP teams question

All 4 schools in the CFP are Nike schools once again, so they announced "new" uniforms for each school.

Ours don't look any different except the diamond Nike swoosh on the uniforms like everyone else is getting. But they show ours with orange tops, white pants.

I thought we were wearing orange britches ("championship pants") the rest of the way. Is Nike in control of what uniform combo we wear?

which means orange jerseys.

But I wonder about the OP's question too. Can we wear orange pants too if we want to or did Nike dictate that we had to wear white pants?

I would be very upset if it turns out they have the power to do that. we should wear what we want and the sweatshop masters can shove it if they dont like it

Completely agree. I don't care WHAT we wear, but it should be up to the players

and staff. Nike is outfitting the team, sure, but the money they pay us to sponsor us goes right back to them for uniforms in all sports.

I think the Paw next to the Swoosh is more valuable to Nike than to Clemson. Recruits know Clemson is not Oregon, so they don't come here for a new uni combo every week. So the apparel company does not sell the school.

Plus we have a sad contract with Nike in comparison to most schools. Swofford probably negotiated it.

I am not sure about the colors. If you look at the first picture, MSU is in all green. But you go down through the pictures and he is in all white. Colors are too close for teams to be in Orange and Crimson, so someone has to wear the white jersey. I believe since colors were so different both teams were allowed to wear colored jerseys for the ACC...baby blue is very close to white.
