The university has made way too much progress in improving its facilities and athletic programs to settle for an AD with a less than stellar reputation.
In fact, I'd be disappointed if we wasted any time even talking to this guy let alone seriously considering him for the position.

I thought TDP was a very good hire but I think now most would agree that he has largely been a disappointment.
That said, hopefully I'm worng about this guy as well.

If this is in fact the case, rest assured his fundraising skills were a big part of the reason.
Whatever else is true, this guys appears to know how to raise money.

Dan Radakovich has;
1 - run at least two other athletic departments
2 - built facilities
3 - has considerable experience raising money
4 - worked at an institution with very high academic standards
5 - well familiar with the ACC.
6 - a big supporter of the olympic/non-revenue sports
I remember when GT hired him from LSU back in 2006 and it was considered a darn good hire for them.
