Anybody else here HATE their job?

Good grief - started a new position in January and all I can say is... well, nothing. Just drop my head in disbelief. Talk about being incompatible with...
well, i had warning signs but thought things would be different with me.
one more day at this and it will be an eternity too long. Sad when you find yourself in a place where you can't just quit.
Hope everyone here is doing much better than i am right now.
Thank you lungers for listening... now, beat me up so I will feel loved.

Don't think alike, can't communicate with...
My "boss" is a women. Maybe it is my fault that this isn't working. I mean, My mom dropped me on my head....my wife hits me in the head when i don't conform... and all the in between moments with women folk from birth to marriage. I dunno, like I say, whenever a women is in charge i get hurt  So, I am sure it is my fault.

Worked for a company who had no standards for quality, delivery or safety (operators used a sauce pan to pour nitric acid on steel without even wearing safety glasses, used a 10 ton hoist to lift production rolls weighing 50,000 lbs, etc. Ops manager would say "Dismissed" at the end of production meetings). It only sucks. Start looking but don't quit. It's easier to find a job when you have one. Made it less than a year.
Funny story, when I went in to resign, I told my boss (who was/is a pretty cool guy) I quit he said, and he was a really calm guy, "COTTDAMMITT, I WAS GOING TO QUIT TODAY!". Bout fell out of the chair laughing.

I almost quit twice last week and yesterday I was in tears. I know....I know....crying about work....just stupid. So glad I work at home now so no one could see me.
But today, things are looking up. Things do get better.....and I hope they do for you too.

New job, much better pay but I feel overwhelmed with new material to learn...and I don’t really have anyone to teach me. This work from home thing has really put a damper on the situation. I’m not married and I have no kids so I don’t feel pressure...they’ll probably fire me before I quit.
