Nagging question about uniforms

I've thought several times over the past several years that the tiger paws on the shoulder pads are different angles. I'm convinced of it now. Check out the picture Miles Murphy posted and compare the two paws. Why is that?

It looks like it depends on how the sleeves are positioned as they are pulled over the pads. Looks like they can be rotated.
