I can't speak for all of it, but most of the trees are cleared out along the Canadian border on the far west side heading towards Vancouver. I guess it makes it easier to monitor. You can stand on the US side and have an unobstructed view of the lights in Canada of a small town a couple miles away without a tree in sight.

What the #### is the source of the map? If it's a US source, does it even SHOW fires in Canada? What about a Canadian source or map? But noooooo.....mouth breathers Ghana mouf-breathe.
So much collective ignorance is predicated on not looking beyond America's borders. Not just with fires, but with everything. Lord we're in a vacuum, and it just gets tighter and tighter. Crap like this is depressing.

Think about the 100's of thousands of various creatures that have been killed in these fires. Sucks. It kind of reminds me of the millions of domestic animals that were killed in WW2.
