Now we know the real reason the Irish didn't want to join the ACC in football. They get their butts beat every time they play a good ACC team.

One day these northern and mid west teams will learn to just play each other, they don't seem to do so well playing the south.

If they ever feel they can't make the playoff they will either join the ACC or more likely make sure the playoff expands.

they make more now as an independent with PO ties than they'd make as a conference member considering their TV contract. If they make the PO once in two decades they keep all the money.
