The NIT field will be announced tonight at 8:30 on ESPNU. Latest NYC Bucketology has Clemson as a three seed, hosting Richmond Tuesday

Yep nobody is thrilled with only an NIT bud but I sure will be pulling for ours boys and hope we can win it. Even if you do not like the coach support the players.

We're talking about how the NIT doesn't matter. We had a solid team. It just didn't workout. The NIT is meaningless.

Can't agree with you more. If I'm coaching and it's the NIT, I don't know what I'd do, but I just don't abandon the team. Like some as you can tell.

This team was a good team. I watched every televised game. We were good enough to be in the tournament in comparison to every team in the nation. We were so close. Things just didn't go our way. The ACC is tough obviously. I can speak for myself though and what bothers me. What bothers me is when people act like the NIT is a big deal. I like our team. I think they played their hearts out. I think they are a good team and a top 50 team at worst. The NIT is meaningless. It's frustrating the way it all ended up. Winning the NIT won't help that, if we do. I am ragging on the NIT and not our team. There is a big difference.

Who is actin like the NIt is a big deal?? I do hope we will it and it would be a great way to end the year considering where we are but I have not seen anybody acting like it is a big deal.
