I said before the season we could win anywhere from 15 to 20. I'm going to say 15 after I saw the first game. It could get worse with two freshmen guards starting. Simms, Newman and Tyson haven't improved as much as I thought they would after the summer. Since Brad is bringing in a good recruiting class, the only way he doesn't come back is if it is like just 10 or 11 wins.

after one game. Newman clearly has, and I think Simms as well. Tyson is the question mark from those 3. Everything up until Tuesday night indicated he has, but he laid a brick against VT. Not sure what the deal was there. We need him and his shooting. We are going to be a team that needs to hit 3's, and he has to be a guy who does that consistently

I'd be shocked if we make any post season tournament

A lot will depend on whether Baehre and Trapp can return effectively and provide some veteran depth.
If Simms, Mack and Newman can emerge as reliable scorers, 16. If not, 12.
Next 4 should be wins.

Maybe not all 4. Watch out for Colgate on Sunday. They are better than VA Tech. Won their conference last year and bring back all 5 starters. Almost beat Tennessee in the first round of the NCAA Tournament last season..

Colgate struggled against NJIT in their opener. It will be a decent test, but, a loss?
I certainly hope not. I actually do think we learn some things as a team after the awful 2nd half Tuesday. Hopefully Tyson and Scott have learned whatever message Brad intended to communicate

Don't understand why some people have anointed Tyson a very good shooter. Didn't show it last year shooting 25.4% overall and 23.4% from the 3pt line and 67% FTs. Didn't show anything different vs VT.
