There are no excuses for an abysmal second half. The defense had too many defensive linemen standing around doing nothing when the Fighting Irish were running the ball down the field for touchdowns. The offense wasted many drives going up the middle instead of passing the ball to a runner to run it into the end zone. These issues and transgressions need to be resolved before Georgia tech.

The ticker basically said Notre Dame comeback falls short, no mention of Clemson win. Also, ESPN said they almost got the upset after everyone on their staff picked them to win.

huge mistake that could be argued cost them the game. Could have sent it into overtime with an extra point. He tried to deflect blame to the players afterwards.
