My take on Slurrier

1. He was not "good" for college football. He was a jackwagon, petulant, bullying spoiled brat. He could provide a snarky comment, but so can a 16 year old drop out.
Dabo represents what is good for College Football... graduate your players, focus on the positive and optimism. Build them up vs Knock them down. Taking accountability and building via a vision.

2. What did he accomplish at uscjr? Really what did he really do?
Got uscjr competitive when the SEC East was at its weakest point. As soon as UF and UT moved back to average relevance, lamecocks crumbled.
He beat Clemson 5x in a row. There you go. That is it. That is the virtual trophy for their imaginary trophy case.

3. I am loving that the only thing that the ESPN tickers states about the lamecocks and Steve Spurrier is that he is leaving. The stats are his career, his Florida successes, his Heisman, and his NFL failures. Shhhhh.... we are waiting for the multitude of lamecocks stats for old, OLD stevie's career.

4. The best thing i want to say about the Old Ball coach is..... "HE IS A C-0-C-K?"

And, the 5 wins over Clemson (only should have lost 2-3 since we had much better skilled talent)..were primarily b/c we fell behind in recruiting best in-state talent for several years after Bowden was fired..and DaBO had a small class of ONLY 12 above average players.

But the tide has changed, and how! Time to beat their socks off for next 3-5 years to even the score..and still have 24+ more overall wins over them in the rivalry.
