and if he's not the starter from day one, it's likely because the coaches are favoring Denson, Dowdle, or Turner because they've been there longer and perhaps more familiar with the offense.

He doesn’t know the play book so I would guess he would have to wait a little while until he gets 1st team snaps.

Where he wasn’t promised either a starting role or at least a certain number of touches before deciding on a school.

Wouldn’t be the first time Muschamp lied to get a recruit to sign then went back on his word. But I’d imagine that Feaster wouldn’t have gone anywhere without some kind of assurance that he’d get a certain workload.
