when asked by corso (urban meyer) how many rings Clemson has.

I wonder what would happen if Lee Corso dressed as Kevin Sumlin and wore a blackface mask....

So I'm a racist for pointing out an obvious double standard?
Please explain.

Saying anything remotely negative about anything

that anyone could associate with black people is now "racist." Also, the mere mention of certain foods, the use of certain colors, and the utterance of certain sounds can make a person a racist.

Politically correct sheep have accidentally created a new problem for black people. Now most people are becoming annoyed with the extreme double standard and it could unfortunately lead to a backlash.

Poor naive, self-righteous neo-liberals.

Yeah. If that's what you got from my comments, you've got some issues to work through. But I'm not a therapist.

My post was't about you. A therapist would call that...

narcissism.

My post was a general comment. And it was a response to someone else.

Okay, I rarely post or reply, but I think I have to when see something as ridiculous as this statement. You can't be serious, if you're trying to compare this too "Blackface", and then trying to make it into a double standard. Everyone knows the true history. It's not like he painted his skin white and tried to mock anyone's culture or degrade anyone.

First, you should know why blackface is offensive. The practice began in the 1820s, when white entertainers in minstrel shows would paint their faces with burnt cork to mock black behavior. The most famous of these was the fictional character “Jim Crow.” I know many of you regard this name as the originator of ingenious bus-seating protocol and the man responsible for doubling the output of the water-fountain industry, but Jim Crow was the original blackface-wearer who reminded the white, post-Civil War ruling class of the danger of a free, unsuppressed Black populace. Knowing this tidbit of history, hopefully you will understand that every time you cover yourself in this reminder, it is difficult for anyone other than white people to find the joke, no matter how clever the costume.

You need to check yourself if a white guy put on a black mask all u libs and all Sharpton would be shitin a brick. We all know the history and it is wrong, but double standards is ignorant. Go to bed Yankee.
