My gut is telling me that Morris will get the TT job

Thats a shame. Cause I really thought next season might be a great season. With him gone, it could go either way.

i also think so. TT wants a guy with texas recruiting experience. Chad fits the bill. Besides he has coached some of the players in TT roster.

he might leave for. As a matter of fact - this is THE job I thought he might leave us for. Hopefully, they won't want him!
Maybe we could get the OC from Nevada. I don't know who he is - but Chad went to learn from him last summer...

I can totally see it too. His style of offense suits there

style of offense and there's the whole Texas connection. I would take it if I was him. I agree the Nevada HC would be a good replacement given out personnel and scheme. I don't know what Nevada is paying him, but Chad makes a pretty good salary at Clemson.

The cigars are pushing for the local hero, Kingsbury. He's only 33, but he's adored in Lubbock & had great success in his first season as OC at A&M. Not to mention, they'll likely get a bargain relative to the other candidates, especially Chad.

I don't agree. Chad was born in Edgewood, Tx. (East Texas) and went to school at Texas A&M (east Texas). His last coaching job in Texas was at Lake Travis HS which is a 'burb of Austin. Why would he take a HC job located in Lubbock (west Texas)? The stadium holds about 60,000 fans. Continue coaching at Clemson for one more year, which should be a very good year, then accept the "Asst. HC, Offensive Coordinator-HC in waiting" position at the Univ. of Texas, which is open, and then get the HC job when Mack Brown retires in a couple of years. Chad could help bring back the prestige of Longhorn football and Mack Brown could retire honorably. Chad is back in Austin where he was a success in High School. He would become a legend!
