My first trip to death Valley

Tiger Nation, I'm a die hard clemson football fan from Long Island, NY. I am planning my first trip to death valley (crazy right?) for the home opener against troy, I have been trying to go for years but being a student I've never had the time or money. I've been to tons of away games (syracuse, BC mostly) but I've never had the real game day experience at clemson. I was wondering if anyone had some advice of what are the must see places in Clemson and where is the best places to stay etc. I'm beyond excited for this trip and to go crazy tailgating/cheering with you all! GO TIGERS
