Boise St would never beat LSU, Ohio St., Georgia, or Oklahoma. I'm sure they could handle all the weak ACC teams and even the weak SEC teams like Scar and Vandy, but Clemson is overall much more powerful in recruiting and football overall.
As for the championships, well that is still to be seen

Also beat VT when they were in their prime. Also Oregon, and UGA. Boise St is no joke - they could beat a lot of teams on a neutral field. I just dont think they'd survive the weekly rigors of a tougher conference like the ACC, $EC, Bigs, and Pac.
