Thanks for this thread, these are all great. Love Danny Ford so much. Hope he understands how much he is appreciated. So so wish we would name a building after him while he's still alive to see it. I know he doesn't care but I do!

The story I heard once from Bobby Bowden (paraphasing)

Bowden was on an in-home recruiting visit. He was talking to the recruit and Dad, but he really wanted to talk to the mom ... but she was no where to be found. After a few minutes, he walked back to the kitchen and saw Coach Ford with an apron on, helping the mom do dishes. Bowden said he just walked out cause there was nothing he could do at that point.
