have already spoken to three guys - they're all playing the "what if" game about how if they had scored at the end against Alabama in the SEC title game they would have beaten ND to become NC.

My buddy invited 2 Georgia guys to come watch the game with us at the bar. All I heard last night was "the real championship game was 3 weeks ago" and "we should be playing in this game."

IF they would have beaten Alabama, Oregon would have probably gotten the spot in the MNC game. Oregon lost by three to stanford, GA lost by like 100 to the coots. Even with SEC blinders on, I can't see the BCS giving the spot to GA in that scenario...

But yes, most of the top 25 would have beaten ND last night. They were deer in the headlights from the moment they stepped out of the tunnel and their tackling and run defense looked like pee wee... Although you have to give Alabamas O-Line/RBs the credit
