My Final Clemson Football Wish before I Die

I want a future Clemson player to be the single greatest player that has ever played the game. That all experts and sports analysts across the fruited plain agree that he is the best that has ever been. With great fanfare and praise, I want this extraordinary player to be invited to New York near season's end as the odds on favorite to win the Heisman Trophy. As his name is called as the non-debatable winner, I want him to smile and wave to the television audience. And shake the hand of the presenter with honor and dignity. When asked to say a few words, I want him to say: "On behalf of the great C.J. Spiller who was never invited to the Heisman Ceremony and in tribute to the 2016 undisputed champion of college football quarterback Deshaun Watson who was invited twice but denied the honor on both visits, I have the distinct honor to stand before you today and simply say --- no thanks, I decline your award."

Honestly I think that could be the next big Clemson inside joke. Kinda like how we don't want Corso to pick us. We should deny the Heisman even if we have the greatest player of all time. There's really no benefit to it other than matching the coots because thats the only category of football they have us beat.
