Frank Hill ways and still is the face of Emerald High School athletics. He is a highly respected man in the area and among high school coaches. His way of coaching and beliefs are very similar to Dabo's. He was and still is a leader of young people. The award is based on athletics but mostly character. It is the highest award a male athlete can receive at Emerald.
The stadium is named for him.

I'm sure I embarrass him by making such a fuss but can't help it. When am I ever going to see anything like this in my lifetime?
FWIW...Spoke to my bro-in-law, coached 40+ years of football in SC, and he said Greenwood County has produced more NFL players per capita than any other. Might see if @TigerBry83 wants a research project =)
