Do ya'll remember that SC game at Clemson when

Woody hit Rod for the long throw? I flew in from California to Atlanta on a Red eye and a buddy and I drove up to the game with a few dollars to our name. We were standing in the endzone with two of the hottest girls I have ever seen in front of us. Our kicker hit the winning field goal and the entire hill area went bonkers...It was freaking beyond cold. It started to sleet right after the game....GOD THAT WAS AWESOME!!!

I don't remember a thing about the weather. I sure do remember the look on that D-back's face as Gardner hauled that thing in. I also remember how deathly silent the place was as Hunt lined up... despite his statistics on the year, no one was certain he would hit that kick. I watched the Hill to see whether or not to cheer (I was seated on the sideline roughly where the pass was caught).

My now 19-year-old son was 7 at the time.....

....he started crying when USC scored a TD and went up on us with a minute and a few seconds left. Crying turned to cheering a few minutes later though! He learned a lesson that night in not giving up.
Yeah, and the sleet walking back to the car, along with a bunch of pi$$ed off USC fans and Clemson fans going crazy all around us.... that was awesome!

Recapping the scoring drives, and a small piece of the goalpost. They were torn down in celebration that night, and my buddy gave me a 1 inch sliver (I didn't realize they were hollow in the middle)

One of those girls was my daughter and she ran to me as soon as the kick went through telling me about a perv touching her in the endzone. I now have a name to track instead of a vague description. I am still looking for you!!!!
j\k I was in the west endzone and I was thinking no way they let Rod get off the line of scrimmage, but stupid is as stupid....well stupid is a coot!!!!

my girlfriend (at the time) had just had gall bladder surgery, so we sold out tickets and watched it on TV at the tailgate. It would have been too crowded with people bumping into incision.
The TV was delayed about 3-5 seconds, so we heard DV erupt in celebration before the ball was kicked on TV...and yes it was cold!
