So what is the best condiment?

Jun 21, 2019, 3:28 PM

Was there a consensus? Definitely hot sauce for me.

Why Gentleman's Relish, ofcourse

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gentleman%27s_Relish

Gentleman's Relish is a type of anchovy paste. It is also known as Patum Peperium (in the style of Latin). It was created in 1828 by an Englishman named John Osborn.[1] It has a strong, very salty and slightly fishy taste, and contains anchovies (minimum 60%), butter, herbs and spices. Today, the secret recipe is withheld from all but one employee at Elsenham Quality Foods in Elsenham, England, the licensed manufacturer.

Sounds good.

honey?

Jun 21, 2019, 3:40 PM

is that a condiment?

I put a dab of honey on more things than anything else. Instead of mayo on a ham sandwich, put a little honey on there instead. Oh man.

If that's wrong, I'll say ketchup. But I find myself using less and less of all those things as I age, I like stuff "plain" more and more.

I like Franks and Texas Pete as well. Always sucks when I go to breakfast somewhere and all they have is regular Tobasco.

It's called "The Gold Rush" at Wild Wing Cafe, but is my favorite condiment for chicken or pork.
