I didn't see a stat saying how many plays away we were from winning the three that Grobe won vs. Tommy's teams. I am beginning to think that is a real stat!

Clemson's PR department always rolls out a bunch of feel-good statistics to take your mind off of how badly Clemson is doing. And the local press (especially TigerNet) always dutifully disseminates the PR.

They did this for the decade of mediocrity under Bowden. And I loved the PR campaign when they hired a head coach with no experience as a head coach or a coordinator. The local press ate it up and convinced the Tiger faithful that Dabo was the Second Coming of Ford.

I wonder if we would have received 6 pages of feel-good stats if Clemson were 5-0.
