Almost every coach will have some guys who they dont take that blossom elsewhere. You just cant take everyone. I dont think he is a good coach either but you miss on a few

Not really Dak has not shown he is a good QB or one that is better than Trevor Lawrence.

Obviously he is not better than TL. But neither is Flowers. He turned into a good college QB after most schools turned him down at QB... I hate to say it, but it sounds very similar to Dak. Neither showed enough in HS to say they would be good college QBs. Flowers turned out decent in a non-power conference at a school with a lot of talent. Unfortunately for Dak, he is going into the SEC with a school that has probably less talent than USF.

Flowers is better than anything Muschump had at UF.

Flowers was ranked the #332 player by the 247 composite in 2014.
During Muschamp's time (2011-2014), he had 3 higher rated QBs at Florida.
Jeff Driskel (2011) - 13 overall, #1 dual
Jacoby Brissett (2011) - 117 overall, #3 pro
Will Grier (2014) - 48 overall, #2 pro
So Muschamp did indeed have higher rated/better HS QBs come to UF during his time there. He just happens to be an awful coach and he ruined all of them.

Yeah .... I understand, but I feel pretty sure that our coaches did not want Joyner coming and sitting behind TL for 3 or 4 years. I doubt that they told him he wouldn't be a good QB at another school. Who knows, maybe Muschamp told Flowers the same thing .... or maybe it was the way in which he was told. It certainly stuck in his craw!
