1988, about 10-12 inches. Hung around for 3 days. Cars were sliding all over clemson blvd.

the following August, and we never had a single snow day during my four years at Clemson. When I got to school we were told we could use trays from the cafeterias as sleds on snow days. I thought that was really cool, but it never happened for me, d@mnit.

Probably 1970 or 71. Tried getting home to Greenwood and only made it to Tri County Tech. Had to walk all the way back to school as could not negotiate that hill. Probably about 8-9 inches I would guess.....jaybird4

'77...great memories...and one of the coldest winters of my life...especially down south. January '77 the temp never got close to 32...remember the enterprising folks who came up with dozens of ice skates for folks to rent...the fire department hosing down the pond in front of the library each evening to 'zamboni' the ice?

That winter storm completely shut-down Interstate 85 between Charlotte and Atlanta for several days.

Winter '88. Someone put a dent in the rear quarter panel of my car during that snow storm. Trying to get out of Cederwoods apartments was always a challenge with that big hill.

one year. But, being old, I can't recall the year. Probably between 1989-1991 because I was in grad school, and we left at halftime and watched the rest of the game at my apartment. We were getting blown out.
