Sundays sometimes make me wonder about

Van Smith, Deon Cain, TJ Green, etc. and what an additional season of development could’ve done for their careers. They obviously could’ve made huge impacts in the college game for one more season. Also, understandably, people have to make the best decision for themselves in that moment and I get/respect that. But looking back on some of those choices, I’m just curious of how it could’ve played out differently.

Deon Cain needed more experience it seems, but luckily he is only 24. The dream is still alive.

One year of him and TLaw would’ve been fun to watch too. I’m sure the thought of having KB2 as the QB again was a demotivator.

Most guys that don't make it after their JR year

wouldn't make it after their SR year either. It's usually just a simple matter of not being good enough... not having a high enough ceiling to ever be good enough.

That's not true for everyone, but it's true for most.
