If CM can resurrect SMU football, make it respectable once again, maybe even competitive, seems like the Big 12 would come calling, seeing as how under current circumstances they need 12 teams and a clear conference champion as a path to the playoffs. If he is successful, maybe he will have a statue in front of the stadium someday.

try to add 2 more teams, or apply for a championship game. SMU and Houston would be logical pick ups. I would say go after BYU, but it seems they are satisfied with being independent.

if they want to expanded eastward, they should go after us and FSU. UCF and USF would just be a further travel for two programs who have a lower or equal ceiling to Houston and SMU.
