I think they have a couple on the fence because of flagged sat scores. Im pretty sure theres only 3 or 4 that are definitley going the prep route. I also dont think theres anything wrong with them recruiting these kids. It was none that they were going to sign a small class but ended up signing 20 something knowing that the acedemoc on the fence kids that needed prep school wouldnt count till the following year. Dont really think that was a bad idea to be honest. Ended up signing a bigger class than expected.

Spurriers recruiting formula :
1- find sketchy affeletes.
2- $ign them up...err , get them committed.
3- Do #2 way more than you should or have needs for.
4- unapologetically smirk at the fact that you are bending the rules and lying to kids.
5- suit up the survivors and wish the casualties luck in their future endeavors . Give them your son's cell # and tell them to call after 2 years in a Mississippi JC .
6- Smirk some more.

A sixer is Spurriers apertif. But he has to remain quasi-coherent on signing day because he meets face to face with the parents he will be disappointing for the next 1-6 years.
