My father died in December 2017. It was expected and a relief as dementia had taken over 24/7 so it was more a celebration of his life than a sad occasion.
At the cemetery after the funeral I was talking to one of his closest friends and his wife, and asked them if you still had to be faithful to your wife in heaven, The vows say until death do us part and mentions nothing about eternity. They both were somewhat amused and were ready to play along.

My step dad at 84 is sliding more each month, he can remember stuff from being a fighter pilot but cannot find his way home. Luckily he is only allowed to drive the golf cart to the course and an extended trip home as it gets fuzzy for him. Healthy as a plow horse otherwise though.
