More Play action with TL???

Seems with our running game and WR we could do a lot more play action down field. Maybe we are holding off on showing it. I just know the horizontal passing game is not going to work against a good D.

The only difference between play action and the RPO is how the ball gets to the QB .

The problem with TL is that he keeps wanting to throw the ball and won't give it to the RBs. TL is still in "I want to do everything and I have all day to do it" mode from high school.

What we need is more straight-up handoffs and running plays. Then, we can open up the passing game.

You're probably right , I mean we only ran the ball about 45 times yesterday for a thousand yards .
TL needs to stop hogging it .

No we're not our offense is definitely a work in progress.We need to keep growing our offense ie: better playcalling,formations,finding a receiving TE and as you said playaction.Hopeful to see us rolling by season end.I think we will be hard to stop soon got get better on 3rd down conversions though.
