More Clemson Recruits vs SEC

I know that it is getting tiresome with the comparisons between the conferences, so I am just going to look at Clemson Vs. Coots and Alabama recruits...this one will be about de-commits (or de-cootments in USC Least terms).

Since the 2015 recruitment cycle, Clemson has had two de-commitments: Shaq Smith and Cordarian Richardson, Shaq came the next year, so really only one.

Since that same 2015 cycle, the Coots have had 34 de-commits!!! They already have 2 for 2020!

During that same span, the Bleeding Tide have had 42 de-commits!!!! They already have 4 for the 2020 cycle!

Now, there could be a good reason for the de-commits, but on whole, it usually is a problem between what the player thought he was getting at first, and what he got after committing...a difference between what he was told, and what he got! You figure out what that means!

I do not know the other two teams well enough to know how many of those came back the next year, but it still shows the difference in how Dabo recruits and how those other two schools recruit. I am so thankful for our coaches and their values!

Did he go to JC? If so, then he would be listed as a de-commit.

No idea. He came in as a freshman. He also earned his degree before this recent transfer.

Confirmed, He committed on 3-26-15. He then started visiting other schools, so....

After unofficials to Georgia and Auburn, he de-committed on 8-6-15.

On 1-2-16 he committed to us again.

Don't forget why Richardson decommitted, it was an academic scandal at his HS and he wouldn't have had the grades to get in.
