Years ago,a sports writer did a story on what is a "Program"

versus what is "Not a Program".....Characteristics he used to define a "Program"
These are not exact, I mean, it was 20 years ago, but you will get the idea...
1.National Championships
2.Conference Championship
3.All Americans
4.National name recognition
5.Record
6.Top 25 rankings in their history
7.If said team loses, other team tears down the goal posts
8.etc. etc. ( He had about 20 of them)
At the time, he had 30 teams that he considered to be a "Program"....Clemson was maybe 17th or 18th
Well, I said all of that, so I could post a characteristic of a "Non-Program"...

The whole world knows Carolina as UNC and USC as Southern Cal. They are sorely in need of a facelift and some marketing IQ. Sad that they’re trying to use “Carolina”. If I were them I’d scrap it all and start over.

Is this helmet a one off for the CC game, or is this permanent change? To me the text design is reminiscent of a BBQ restaurant sign.
