Missed field goal

This may have already been discussed, but I haven't seen this exact topic. My family and I were in attendance Saturday. First time in the Valley for my Bride and stepson. They were impressed to say the least. My question, does he make the kick facing the West End zone? No doubt, the stadium was loud everywhere but I would say it is always a bit louder on the student section end. How much does that play into it?

Really happy we won, but you have to feel bad for the kid--you know he hates even going to class this week.

You never know, it could have been the swaying back & forth of the students that affecting his focus for just enough to cause him to miss, which you would not get that movement in the West end zone. Or the crowd may not have any effect it could have all been in his head.

My hunch is that it was the overall pressure of the situation - not so much which was he was facing. The west end zone folks can get rowdy too.
