Team Driven

Team Driven
They say the New York press is brutal but it seems Derek Jeter always says the right thing.

After the BCS title game Monday night All-American center Barrett Jones he didn't have to adhere to the Alabama talking points and media pointers he got from their handbook anymore.

My hope for Boyd is

that Friday and throughout the weekend he becomes a recruiter. I hope he can share his love for Clemson with all of these young men coming in to try to make their college choice. I hope recruits really look at why he is coming back and realize what they will get to feel and experience in their time at Clemson. Go get em Tajh! And after we sign em up, then you can help get them ready to win some championships next year!

and along with all the other student athletes that play football at Clemson that they each take the same attitude he has and work towards what could be a really special fall in Clemson.

Get bigger, get stronger, get quicker and let's roll the dawgs day 1!

I've had the honor to see many great players in the 40 years I have been following Clemson football, Steve Fuller, Dwight Clark, the Perry brothers, Terry Kinard, Brian Dawkins, Jeff Davis, the list goes on and on. Tahj rates up there with the best of them, the pounding he took in the bowl game was brutal, every hit he got up and continued to lead The Tigers to one of the biggest wins in a long time. When The Tigers take the field this fall against Georgia, I can't think of anyone I had rather have to lead us to victory.
