in my opinion with everything going on with college sports.
Play/Don't Play
Delay season
Will the season be completed as currently scheduled
etc...
Not to say it 100% won't happen though but this season most coaches are getting a pass until next year

place to establish a recruiting base, even if he's not getting the top players due to SEC teams and some others...
If one of those SEC West jobs opens, or maybe even FL ST, I could see him being in a prime spot if he continues to elevate Louisiana...
I don't think he wants an in-state competition with Clemson and Dabo. That wouldn't be the way start a race.

He might have sour grapes and think he could get even with Dabo for firing him. He might be smart enough not to go that route but you never know.

They will have a losing season again this year. coot fans will cry and crow asking for his firing. It won’t happen though because Tanner will use the COVID excuse like everyone else does right now. I think after the 2021 season he’ll be canned.

uof6c couldn't afford the buyout last year and the effects of COVID have only exacerbated that even though CussChamps buyout was reduced from $15.3 million (plus a prorated salary of approximately $12,022 per day) to $13.2 million, plus the prorated amount.
In the minds of Capons, this is a throw away year that doesn't really count.

I don't know but it looks like a loosing season to me. That will be their problem when they do fire him not much is available most of the time. The ole ball coach could not do it there can anyone?
