Mick, Brian Maddox appears to be a fine D-1 prospect that grew up a Tiger fan. Please share your thoughts on his commitment to USC. Do you expect him to be a difference maker for USC? Why did Celmson not connect with Brian (there appeared to be a lack of common interest by both Clemsno and Maddox)? My guess is that Clmeson is set at running back for the next four+ years. Finally, Maddox projects as a 4-star prospect, where do you rate him? And what do you see as his strong/weak points? As always, thanks for your feedback. Rube
I think Maddox is a really nice kid who comes from a great family. His father Eddie was an academic All-American at Western Carolina and is a leader in the community in Anderson. They should be role models as parents and Brian should be a role model for a lot of kids. I have seen Brian play and I think he is a good back. I do not think he is as talented as James Davis, Reggie Merriweather, Demmerick Chancellor or C.J. Spiller. The Clemson staff did not think he was a difference maker. Other staffs really liked hi more than Clemson did. We will see who is right. I was wrong on Rafael Little. I had no idea he could be as successful as he has been.
